“Limited Edition” kicks off with “Baby Don’t Cry”, a genre defying track with a signature guitar line and an uplifting message: “Tomorrow will be better I promise you”, supported by a big churchy organ and an easy rocking rhythm. It’s followed by “Running Like Me”, a dark tale of empty highways and love gone bad. Next is “Solo”, which tells of a lonely traveler “Trying to get from no place to somewhere”. “Long Way to Heaven” carries forward a similar theme but with a sterner voice, with Rick singing "All I see is abundance, but hunger is all I know", followed by “Beyond Tears” a hymn that celebrates life and the majesty of the World. Lastly, the lively “See You Tonite”, offers a hint of redemption and takes us full circle back to a more upbeat point of view while capturing the excitement of a new love.
